We have tried out dozens of diaper brands and we always come back to Pampers Swaddlers. The best way to judge a diaper is to see if it leaks from ordinary use. These stand up very well to the competition. Pampers Swaddlers very rarely leak — even if a diaper is very full, the mess is usually contained, so you avoid unnecessarily changing a baby’s (otherwise-clean) clothes. We even use these as night diapers, for 8-10 hours. By morning the diaper is very full, but there are no leaks.
We first tried out Costco’s Kirkland brand diapers, because they were less expensive (15 cents per Size 2 diaper, as opposed to 20 cents for Pampers Swaddlers [1]), but we ended up returning them. The amount of time and money spent on doing laundry because of repeated leaks simply did not make them worthwhile. The Swaddlers give you peace of mind for long days — even on long car trips. These diapers are very user-friendly, and I love the indicator on the front of the diaper, which changes color from yellow to blue, letting you knows when the diaper is wet or dirty. They are very easy to put on — the adhesive tabs are very simple and rarely tear. Highly recommended.
